Mark Jones

Mark Jones is a professional, hugely experienced Master of Ceremonies, who worked at Radio City in Liverpool (for more years than he cares to quantify) and other top radio stations in the UK and USA.

Mark Jones hosts events throughout the UK and Worldwide, fronting events in China, Brunei, United States (three times), Malaysia (twice), Portugal (twice), Germany (twice), Switzerland (twice), Hungary, Poland and Finland amongst others.

Mark Jones has hosted the Manchester United’s and Aston Villa’s Player-of-the-Year awards (and many others) and the MBNA Football Awards at the Point Conference Centre at Lancashire Cricket Ground.

Mark Jones hosts the European Contactless Technology awards annually in London since 2007, and the annual UK Electrical Industry events at Celtic Manor for even longer!

Mark Jones has compèred hundreds of business award ceremonies and innumerable sporting dinners over the years, working with many of his heroes; including David Beckham, Andrew ‘Freddie’ Flintoff, Frank Bruno, Ryan Giggs, Sir Ian Botham and Sir Alex Ferguson. He even fronted a very successful ‘sportsmen’s-dinners-for-the-troops’ tour of war-torn Kosovo in 2000 with England World Cup winners, Alan Ball and Jack Charlton. Mark covered the Manchester United, Celtic and Liverpool FC pre-season American Tours for UK radio.

In 2001, Mark Jones was very close (too close, in fact) to the World Trade Center Towers in Manhattan on the morning of 9/11; he spent the rest of the day as a volunteer for the Salvation Army, helping the NYPD and firefighters. He then reported ‘live’ from Ground Zero for UK radio for the rest of the week.”
